Drinking may help you in Weight Loss...!

Isn't it funny that if we start talking about DRINKING, then all the brains automatically start thinking about alcohol. Drinking is a keyword that is switched in the social area of brain, which always connects our brain to alcohol.

I know at this time, while reading the headline and first paragraph of this article brains must be  thinking about alcohol, so that they can prove some one that drinking alcohol is good for health. Don't worry guys, I am not a big fan of drinking alcohol, that doesn't means I will be against alcohol in this article. I believe that drinking or not drinking alcohol is an individuals decision and prospective.

In this article I am going to talk about the well known truth and a scientific fact that our body is made of 75% water and though many studies have proven that water is the only natural ingredient in the world which improves your our loss results. So my projection is completely about drinking water the right way, to help our metabolism improve. There is a old saying we have heard from our elders, ‘The more you drink, the more you shrink’ (Fitstop Australia, n.d.). If we drink more water we are doing the right thing, but we are not doing it the right way.

                                             Weight Loss

Now first question comes to the mind is, How does drinking water helps to lose weight? Answer is simple,

"Drinking water can boost weight loss results in a number of ways, mainly through potentially increasing your metabolism, cleansing your body of excess waste and acting as a bit of an appetite suppressant. Drinking more water will also encourage your body to retain less water compared to when it’s dehydrated. This can help you to drop water weight and get rid of that dreaded bloated feeling. Drinking water and staying hydrated is also known to boost energy levels and maintain clear skin." (Fitstop Australia, n.d.)

Now let us talk about the main point for which we are reading this article, How to use water for weight loss? There are three things to maintain, which are explained as under:

  1. Have a glass right before you eat: Water fills up your stomach, and therefore works as an appetite suppressor. Drinking water before you eat a meal can actually result in an average reduction of 75 calories per meal, which is awesome if weight loss is your ultimate goal (Fitstop Australia, n.d.).‍
  2. Reach for the water instead of the calorie-filled drinks: Sugar-filled choices could potentially be sabotaging your weight loss efforts. It’s easy to consume excess calories from beverages and not really factor them into our daily intake. Next time you’re thirsty, switch out the soda for a couple of glasses of water instead and see whether your cravings disappear [1] (Fitstop Australia, n.d.).‍
  3. Drink to remove excess waste from your body: If your body is dehydrated, it’s not able to correctly or effectively remove waste [2]. Making sure you’re adequately hydrated helps your kidneys filter out toxins and other junk from your body, and also encourages them to retain nutrients and electrolytes (the good stuff). If your body isn’t removing waste effectively then it can build up in your intestines, causing you to feel bloated, sore, swollen or tired. Make sure that you’re drinking enough water to support your body’s digestion process (Fitstop Australia, n.d.).
How much water should you be drinking?
Based on the average weight of men and women, the current daily recommended water intake is 2.6 litres for men and 2.1 liters for women. However, this depends heavily on your age, weight, height, and if you’re pregnant [3] (Fitstop Australia, n.d.).

How can I tell if I’m drinking enough water?
The best way to tell whether or not you’re getting enough water is to pay attention when you use the loo. It’s likely if you’re not heading to the bathroom every 3 to 4 hours, that you’re likely dehydrated and should consider upping your water intake (Fitstop Australia, n.d.).

Women Empowerment : Happy Women Day to all the women empowering our society.

Women can do everything that men can, and they even do it better. They also can do many things that men cannot. But it is a fact that their work is not appreciated as much as men’s, although they have to sacrifice a lot for their family and career… It is said: "A woman’s place is in the home." What do you think?

Over the last twenty years, the women empowerment and employment have gone through rapid changes and more over women are working in the different sphere of the society than ever. But the harsh truth is that the society never appreciates their efforts, irrespective of their hard work and the sacrifice they make in their family and profession. Some people think that home is the right place for women to stay rather than going out for work. In this paper we will analyses the position of working women in society, in the light of abilities, cultural norms and religious values.

Firstly, men are better adapted to perform physical work, such as operating heavy machinery, cargo loading, digging etc because of their physical abilities, whereas women are not accepted for such domain due to their structure and nature. It is the structure of a person which marks their abilities, what they can do and what they cannot. On other hand women are successfully working as carer in the professions like nursing, elementary education, customer service, child care, nanny services etc, where they are preferred over men due to their ability to be patient, devotion, care and pliability. I don't believe in judging ability of a women by their structure. There are many women around the world, like, Kalpana Chawla, Mother Teresa, Angelina Jolie, Michelle Obama, who have proven this wrong by working beyond their structural abilities.

However, there is an argument over the women’s position which is less esteemed in society due to their traditional roles at home. For instance, in Middle-East and ancient India, where culture and religious values were in the way of the women to progress over men in the society. They were taught only to stay at home, raise children and perform household responsibilities.

To conclude, I disagree with the argument that women should stay at home. I believe that they should be given chance equally to perform and show their abilities. World is changing now, and women has already proved that they can do better than men.
